Yoga means 'union' between body and mind. Each posture has physical, energetic, spiritual, and mental benefits. Depending on your attention and intention, you might focus more on one facet than another. Yoga makes you body aware and allows you to move prana (life force energy). It’s a type of meditation that connects your mind and body with your breath, and as you flow through the sensations, you gain clarity and focus. All else falls away and you are in the moment.
